Effective Date: August 2026
Last Updated: August 2026
Welcome to CJS Travel Company LLC. These Terms & Policies govern the use of our website, inquiries submitted through our website, and certain aspects of the travel planning and advisory services offered by CJS Travel Company LLC.
CJS Travel Company LLC is an independent travel advisory business and affiliate of Fora Travel, Inc. (“Fora”).
Clients who engage CJS Travel Company LLC for travel planning or related services may also be required to execute a separate Master Client Services Agreement and agree to applicable travel supplier terms and conditions. In the event of a conflict relating to a specific client engagement or booking, the executed Master Client Services Agreement and applicable supplier terms will govern that engagement or booking.
By using this website, submitting an inquiry, requesting services, or engaging CJS Travel Company LLC, you acknowledge these Terms & Policies as applicable to your interaction with CJS Travel Company LLC.
1. Eligibility & Client Information
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to request and purchase travel services through CJS Travel Company LLC.
When providing information for yourself or other travelers, you agree that the information provided is true, complete, and accurate.
You are responsible for promptly notifying CJS Travel Company LLC of changes to traveler information and for ensuring that all traveler names and information supplied for reservations match applicable government-issued identification and travel documents.
When acting as a lead traveler for others, you are responsible for communicating applicable travel information, requirements, deadlines, and supplier policies to those travelers.
2. Independent Travel Advisor & Fora Travel
CJS Travel Company LLC is an independent travel advisor of Fora Travel, Inc. (“Fora”) and operates its own separate travel business.
CJS Travel Company LLC is not an employee of Fora. Fora provides host-agency services, technology, supplier relationships, booking infrastructure, payment processing, commission processing, and other resources used by CJS Travel Company LLC in connection with its travel advisory services.
Fora is a technology provider and host agency and is not itself the provider of the independent professional planning and concierge services offered directly by CJS Travel Company LLC.
Clients engaging CJS Travel Company LLC will be provided the applicable contractual terms governing the relationship between CJS Travel Company LLC, the Client, and Fora as part of the client agreement process.
3. Travel Planning & Advisory Services
CJS Travel Company LLC provides professional travel planning, advisory, booking, coordination, and concierge services.
Depending upon the service selected, these services may include:
Custom itinerary planning;
Hotels and resorts;
Cruises;
Air travel coordination;
Ground transportation;
Tours and excursions;
Restaurant and dining reservations;
Entertainment and event reservations;
Honeymoons;
Bachelor and bachelorette travel;
Family and reunion travel;
Group and corporate travel;
Destination wedding travel coordination;
Luxury and VIP travel;
Concierge services; and
Other customized travel arrangements.
The specific scope of services provided to a Client will be determined by the service or planning package selected and any applicable proposal, invoice, or Client agreement.
Services outside the agreed scope may be subject to additional professional fees.
4. Planning & Service Fees
CJS Travel Company LLC may charge professional planning, consultation, booking, concierge, modification, management, or other service fees depending upon the services requested.
Applicable fees will be communicated to the Client before paid planning services begin.
Planning fees charged by CJS Travel Company LLC are 100% non-refundable and are due before CJS Travel Company LLC begins work on an itinerary unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
Planning and service fees compensate CJS Travel Company LLC for professional time and expertise, including research, itinerary development, consultations, supplier coordination, reservation management, communication, documentation, and ongoing travel-planning support.
Planning and service fees are separate from the actual cost of travel.
5. Complimentary Booking Services
Certain travel booking services may be offered without a separate professional planning fee at the discretion of CJS Travel Company LLC.
The absence of a planning or service fee does not mean that travel itself is complimentary. Clients remain responsible for all charges imposed by hotels, airlines, cruise lines, transportation providers, tour operators, restaurants, and other travel suppliers.
CJS Travel Company LLC reserves the right to determine whether a request qualifies for complimentary booking assistance or requires a professional service fee.
6. Travel Quotes, Rates & Availability
Unless otherwise stated, travel prices quoted by CJS Travel Company LLC are in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Travel pricing is frequently dynamic and may change without notice based on availability, demand, supplier pricing, taxes, fees, exchange rates, fuel surcharges, and other factors.
Prices and availability are not guaranteed until the applicable travel service has been booked and any required deposit or payment has been received and confirmed.
International reservations may also be affected by currency fluctuations, which may change the final amount due.
A proposal, quote, or itinerary option does not constitute a confirmed reservation.
All bookings remain subject to availability and confirmation.
7. Deposits & Payments
Clients are responsible for making all deposits, installment payments, final payments, and other travel-related payments by the applicable deadlines.
Travel payments may be made directly to a travel supplier or, when directed by CJS Travel Company LLC, processed through Fora on behalf of the applicable supplier.
Professional planning or service fees payable directly to CJS Travel Company LLC may be processed separately.
Failure to make payment by an applicable deadline may result in cancellation, loss of availability, loss of pricing, forfeiture of a deposit, or other supplier-imposed penalties.
CJS Travel Company LLC is not responsible for losses resulting from a Client’s failure to make timely payment.
8. Credit Card Authorization & Payment Disputes
Clients may elect to maintain a payment card through an approved secure payment system for authorized travel transactions.
By providing a payment method, the Client represents that they are an authorized user of that payment method.
CJS Travel Company LLC will only authorize or facilitate charges expressly approved by the Client.
Clients agree not to initiate a payment dispute or chargeback for the purpose of avoiding or circumventing valid booking terms, cancellation policies, non-refundable charges, planning fees, supplier terms, or authorized travel expenses.
If a purchased product or service is not provided as expected, Clients should promptly notify CJS Travel Company LLC and provide a reasonable opportunity for CJS Travel Company LLC to assist in seeking an appropriate resolution with the responsible supplier.
Additional payment and chargeback terms are contained in the Master Client Services Agreement.
9. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
Travel arrangements are subject to the deposit, payment, cancellation, modification, refund, and no-show policies established by the applicable travel supplier.
Some travel arrangements may be partially or completely non-refundable.
Clients requesting a cancellation or modification should provide CJS Travel Company LLC with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice by email whenever reasonably possible.
The 48-hour notice requirement does not extend or override a supplier’s cancellation or modification deadline.
Clients are responsible for providing instructions sufficiently in advance for CJS Travel Company LLC to reasonably process a request before the applicable supplier deadline.
CJS Travel Company LLC is not responsible for penalties resulting from late Client instructions.
Any supplier penalties, fare differences, rate increases, cancellation charges, modification fees, or other costs resulting from a Client-requested cancellation or change are the Client’s responsibility.
If a supplier owes a refund, the timing and approval of that refund are controlled by the supplier. CJS Travel Company LLC may assist Clients with eligible refund requests but cannot guarantee approval or processing time.
Professional planning and service fees paid to CJS Travel Company LLC remain subject to the non-refundable fee policy described above.
10. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all trips.
Travel insurance is not automatically included in a Client’s travel arrangements unless expressly stated and purchased.
Depending upon the policy selected, travel insurance may provide protection relating to certain trip cancellations, interruptions, delays, medical emergencies, evacuations, baggage loss, supplier issues, and other covered events.
Without appropriate travel insurance, Clients may be financially responsible for losses resulting from cancellations, interruptions, supplier policies, medical emergencies, delays, and other travel disruptions.
Supplier cancellation penalties remain applicable regardless of whether a Client purchases travel insurance.
Coverage, exclusions, eligibility, claims, and benefits are determined by the applicable insurance provider and policy. CJS Travel Company LLC does not guarantee that any particular event will be covered or that an insurance claim will be approved.
11. Passports, Visas & Required Travel Documents
Clients and travelers are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all documentation necessary for travel.
This may include:
Valid government-issued identification;
Passports;
Visas;
Electronic travel authorizations;
Entry or transit permits;
Vaccination or health documentation;
Documentation required for minors;
Parental or legal guardian consent documentation; and
Any other documentation required by governments, immigration authorities, transportation providers, or travel suppliers.
Passport validity requirements vary by destination and may require a passport to remain valid for a specified period beyond the traveler’s intended travel dates.
Clients are responsible for verifying the requirements applicable to every destination and transit country.
When travel documents are received, it is the Client’s responsibility to immediately review all information for accuracy.
Names on travel reservations and documents should match the traveler’s applicable government-issued identification.
12. Denial of Boarding or Entry
CJS Travel Company LLC is not responsible if a traveler is denied boarding, entry, transit, or admission by an airline, cruise line, government, immigration authority, customs authority, or other entity.
Travelers may be denied entry based upon documentation, passport validity, visa requirements, criminal history, immigration history, citizenship, nationality, governmental restrictions, or other factors.
Clients are responsible for determining whether any restriction may apply to them or their traveling companions.
Being denied boarding or entry may result in a substantial or complete financial loss and does not automatically entitle a traveler to a refund.
CJS Travel Company LLC does not provide legal or immigration advice.
13. Traveling With Minors
Children and infants may require passports, visas, birth certificates, parental-consent documentation, custody documentation, or other travel authorization.
Minors traveling with one parent, without either parent, or with another supervising adult may be subject to additional governmental documentation requirements.
The parent, legal guardian, or responsible adult is responsible for verifying and satisfying all applicable requirements before travel.
14. Travel Advisories, Health & Safety
Travel inherently involves risk.
Conditions at a destination may change before or during travel because of weather, natural disasters, communicable disease, political instability, civil unrest, crime, governmental action, transportation disruptions, or other events.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and understanding applicable U.S. government and destination-issued travel advisories, entry requirements, health information, and safety guidance.
Changes to governmental travel advisories do not automatically override the cancellation and refund policies of travel suppliers.
Unless otherwise covered by applicable travel insurance or supplier policy, a change in travel advisory or a Client’s concern or discomfort regarding a destination does not automatically create a right to a refund, credit, or other compensation.
CJS Travel Company LLC does not represent that travel to any destination is without risk.
Participation in travel constitutes acceptance of the inherent risks associated with travel.
15. Travel Suppliers & Third-Party Services
CJS Travel Company LLC acts as an intermediary between Clients and independent travel suppliers.
Hotels, resorts, airlines, cruise lines, transportation providers, tour operators, excursion providers, restaurants, insurance companies, and other suppliers are independent entities responsible for providing their respective products and services.
CJS Travel Company LLC does not own, operate, manage, or control these independent suppliers.
Clients are subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable suppliers.
CJS Travel Company LLC cannot guarantee supplier rates, availability, performance, quality, special requests, amenities, schedules, or continued operation.
CJS Travel Company LLC is not responsible for changes, delays, cancellations, modifications, service failures, refund decisions, price changes, bankruptcy, operational cessation, acts, errors, omissions, negligence, or other conduct of independent suppliers.
CJS Travel Company LLC will make reasonable efforts to assist Clients when supplier issues affect arrangements booked through CJS Travel Company LLC.
16. Independent Travel Arrangements
CJS Travel Company LLC is not responsible for costs, fees, penalties, disruptions, missed connections, or other losses arising from travel arrangements booked independently by a Client or through another travel advisor, agency, supplier, or booking platform.
Clients should notify CJS Travel Company LLC when independently arranged travel may affect services being coordinated by CJS Travel Company LLC.
17. Special Requests & Concierge Services
CJS Travel Company LLC may assist with special requests such as room preferences, bedding, adjoining rooms, accessibility requests, dietary preferences, celebrations, upgrades, early check-in, late checkout, restaurant reservations, activities, transportation, entertainment, and other concierge arrangements.
Special requests remain subject to supplier availability and confirmation and are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by the applicable supplier.
Clients are responsible for deposits, cancellation charges, no-show charges, minimum-spend requirements, and other supplier-imposed costs associated with concierge arrangements.
18. Group, Corporate & Destination Wedding Travel
Group, corporate, reunion, bachelor/bachelorette, destination wedding, and other multi-traveler arrangements may be subject to additional agreements, deposits, deadlines, room-block requirements, minimum participation requirements, attrition provisions, or other supplier-specific conditions.
A designated lead traveler or organizer may serve as CJS Travel Company LLC’s primary point of contact.
Unless otherwise agreed, individual travelers remain responsible for their own payments, documentation, traveler information, deadlines, and compliance with applicable terms.
For destination weddings, CJS Travel Company LLC provides travel coordination unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
CJS Travel Company LLC does not act as a wedding planner, event planner, venue coordinator, or event producer and is not responsible for wedding-day event planning or execution.
19. Force Majeure
CJS Travel Company LLC is not responsible for failure, delay, interruption, cancellation, or inability to perform resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, accidents, civil unrest, war, terrorism, pandemics or epidemics, government actions, border closures, transportation interruptions, strikes, equipment failures, infrastructure failures, supplier failures, technology outages, or other unforeseen events.
CJS Travel Company LLC will make reasonable efforts to assist affected Clients when circumstances materially affect arrangements booked through CJS Travel Company LLC.
Additional costs resulting from such events remain the Client’s responsibility unless otherwise covered by a supplier, travel insurance policy, or other applicable source.
20. Limitation of Liability
CJS Travel Company LLC acts as an authorized seller and intermediary for disclosed travel suppliers and does not control their operations.
To the extent provided in the applicable Master Client Services Agreement and permitted by law, CJS Travel Company LLC is not liable for personal injury, property damage, delays, cancellations, service failures, supplier acts or omissions, refund policies, price changes, bankruptcy, operational cessation, or other damages arising from products or services provided by independent travel suppliers.
The complete limitation-of-liability provisions applicable to Clients are contained in the Master Client Services Agreement.
21. Client Responsibilities

Complying with laws and supplier policies; and
Promptly notifying CJS Travel Company LLC of errors, changes, or concerns.
CJS Travel Company LLC is not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate information supplied by a Client or a Client’s failure to satisfy these responsibilities.
22. Privacy & Personal Information
CJS Travel Company LLC collects and uses information reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, provide travel-planning services, coordinate reservations, communicate with Clients, and operate its business.
Relevant Client and traveler information may be shared with Fora and applicable travel suppliers, booking platforms, hotels, airlines, cruise lines, tour operators, transportation providers, insurance providers, restaurants, payment processors, and other entities when reasonably necessary to provide requested services.
Where applicable, payment information may be securely processed or stored through Fora’s secure payment infrastructure or another authorized payment provider.
CJS Travel Company LLC does not independently store complete payment-card information when payment information is maintained through such secure third-party systems.
